Every ability is one MCP tool the plugin exposes to your AI agent. You control which ones are turned on from your WordPress dashboard — everything stays disabled by default except a handful of safe, read-only tools.

Read tools vs. write tools

Read tools are safe to explore: they let the AI look at your posts, pages, media and settings without changing anything. Write tools change your site — creating, updating or deleting content — and stay off until you switch them on yourself.

Core and plugin-specific groups

A set of core abilities covering posts, pages, media, users and comments is always available. Additional groups appear automatically once the matching plugin is installed and active on your site:

• Yoast SEO — meta titles, descriptions, focus keyphrases and readability data
• WooCommerce — products, orders, categories and inventory
• Elementor — page and section layouts, widgets and templates
• Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) — custom field groups and values
• Gravity Forms, Contact Form 7 and WPForms — form structure and submissions

Each group only shows up in your settings once its plugin is detected — nothing is enabled speculatively.

How filtering works

Inside the plugin’s WordPress dashboard, the full ability list can be searched and filtered by group and by read/write status, so you can see exactly what you’re about to enable before you do it.
